Praha - Veletržní palác The painter Karel Myslbek (1874–1915) was a sensitive observer of ordinary people, portraying them in difficult life situations. He was also interested in the world of the circus and of the theatre as a reflection of the challenges of human existence. The drawings and prints in which he developed the motifs for subsequent paintings present some of his themes – from depicting old men and beggars to motifs of clowns and Pierrot figures.

Praha - Tančící dům Výstava několika set originálních děl včetně těch, která zatím nebyla nikde prezentována. Výstava je uspořádána jako časový i tematický průřez tvorbou. V expozici jsou k vidění kresby z 50. let i některé z posledních obrazů namalovaných okolo roku 2005. Zastoupena jsou díla od komiksu přes ukázky práce pro film až po volnou tvorbu, zahrnující olejomalbu a volné umění. Vše doplňují dobové tiskoviny, 3D objekty, fotografie a videa.

The focus of the project lies on the occasion of the first time in the Czech Republic to present in detail and on unique pieces and documents one of the most remarkable chapters of the Czech avant-garde art abroad - the Šíma’s main influence in the Parisian group "Le Grand Jeu".

Praha - Valdštejnská jízdárna The exhibition waThe exhibition seeks to present Josef Šíma’s early work from his beginnings inBrnoto his encounter with the poets of the remarkable and today somehow legendary French group Le Grand Jeu and show to what extent his involvement in this adventure was one of the key impulses for his work. In the brief period of 1929–1931, Šíma became the chief artist of the group and the other members–poets were busy interpreting his artworks.ill show Kupka’s entire oeuvre, from his early works of the 1890s to his abstract artworks of the 1950s. Owing to cooperation with the French partner, a unique collection of oil paintings, works on paper, prints and documentary material could be assembled, and will be presented in the Grand Palais in Paris in spring 2018, then in the National Gallery in Prague in autumn 2019 (in an altered form) and then the Ateneum Art Museum in Helsinki in spring 2019.
